Jessica Splinter
Master Stylist/Owner
Passionate, driven and creative, Jessica is a successful, technically diverse stylist, and the owner of Salon Oriana. Her 20 years in the industry, and a dedication to always learn new things, gives her the ability to do just about anything it takes to get you a great new look! Bellami Pro hair extensions, creative color and balayage, fashion forward cuts, enhancing natural textures or retexturizing services, brows, makeup and mentoring our new apprentices are what you can expect to see while she’s behind the chair.
Tom Miller
Esthetician/Salon Administration
Tom has been working with Aveda, shaping eyebrows since 1999. Sometimes called “the brow whisperer” by colleagues, he can tame the most stubborn unruly brows using Aveda Relaxing Waxing Techniques to improve your comfort level and reduce irritation. A finish with refrigerated massage stones is a customer favorite! He also provides brow tinting, lash lifting/tinting and brow lamination services.
Tom is also also responsible for much of the salon operations, including payroll, inventory and implementation of all salon technologies.
Outside of the salon, one of Tom’s passions is photography. You might notice photographs on our social pages that he has taken for us!
Jennifer Peterson
Nail Technician
Jennifer is our nail tech with over 20 years experience. She is a soft gel specialist and a nail art lover. Jennifer has a keen eye for detail and color and is always ready to make recommendations to suit every person in her chair. Jennifer works alongside her clients to help them meet their nail goals.
She believes that it’s not only about your craft but about how you make people feel. Jennifer has a natural ability to make her clients feel comfortable and welcome like long time friends coming in to catch up.
When Jennifer isn’t in the salon she is busy with her husband, four kids, and new dog. She enjoys knitting, baking, and spending summers camping.

Madison Bresnan
Senior Stylist
Madison Bresnen’s passion for Aveda started 9 years ago at an Aveda lifestyle salon in Florida. With 12 years of experience as a stylist, she moved back to Minnesota with her husband to start a family. She found her salon home with us at Salon Oriana and received additional training alongside owner Jessica Splinter to perfect her skills. She is always driven to connect with her clients to make them feel beautiful, regardless of the season or trend. Favorites include fashion colors (like pink) as well as warm coppers, reds, blondes and extensions. Madison is the proud and loving Mom of recently arrived baby, Samuel!

Shawna White
Senior Stylist
Shawna has been in the industry since 2010 and continues to fall deeper in love with her career. She passionately specializes in healthy hair. Whether your desire is a new hair color or a modern haircut and style, she prides herself on execution.
Shawna works alongside every guest to create a unique, long term her plan to ensure their cut, color and style consistently matches their personality & lifestyle. She will reevaluate the plan throughout the year to confirm you are still on the right path.

Macy Kramer
Senior Stylist
Macy trained at the Aveda Institute with an additional year long apprenticeship under Owner and Master Stylist Jessica.
Macy has found her hair passions to be fun fashion color and texture, both natural and reformed. She’s mastered Japanese Straightening and is one of the few stylists in Minnesota besides Jessica to do so.
Outside of work Macy loves different art mediums including painting and dance.
Kaitlyn Genskay
Stylist
Kaitlyn always knew she wanted to work in the beauty industry at a young age, even doing hair and makeup on her friends for prom and other events. In addition to cut, color she has a passion for hair extensions.
She studied at Nova Academy in Mankato and apprenticed here at Salon Oriana!
She also loves painting, drawing and hiking.
JD Rustad
Stylist
JD has a passion for individuality. With 4 years of professional experience behind the chair, she thrives in creating an environment of positivity and support, ensuring every client walks away looking and feeling like their truest self. She specializes in alternative cuts, blonding, fashion colors and drastic transformations, and loves to talk about product knowledge.
Outside of salon hours, you’d likely find her tromping through the forest, painting, or singing her heart out.

Mina Mohamed
Apprentice Stylist
Mina has always had a passion for the beauty industry; doing hair for events and her own sisters hair to help them feel beautiful. In addition to hair, she loves performing esthetic services, like brows, facials and lashes.
She studied at Empire beauty and is now a Salon Oriana apprentice.
She says “This salon pulled me in with the supportive atmosphere and overall vibe”
Outside the salon, she enjoys going for hikes, working out and traveling to new places.
Mina is bilingual; speaking English and Somali.
