STYLIST POSITIONS
Salon Oriana, an Aveda Concept Salon located at the Southtown Shopping Center in Bloomington, MN is always adding ambitious and talented stylists to our styling team. Incoming stylists can expect a growth-driven working environment and access to further education in the beauty industry by Owner and Stylist Jessica Splinter and leading industry educators. While we appreciate that you’ve built a strong client following where you are, we understand there are many factors as to why your clientele may not be able to follow you. Regardless of your following we have a community of clients excited to work with you.
For inquiring stylists with 3+ years of industry experience, you can expect the interview process to include technical skill assessments, review of your style portfolio or professional social media, and discussion of references and recommendations.
Inquiring stylists with 1-3 years of experience have the opportunity to work with Salon Oriana Owner and Stylist Jessica Splinter in a working apprenticeship. Stylists at this tier will learn new and refined styling practices and techniques while working with your already existing clientele and those from our community. You can also expect to strengthen skills in growing and maintaining your online presence.
Newly out of school students or stylists with less than 1 year of experience have the opportunity to work alongside Jessica Splinter in a 6 month to 1 year long paid apprenticeship, where you will continue your development of hair styling practices and techniques.
As one of the top rated salons in Twin Cities area, stylists can expect a passion driven energy and a team that strives for excellence. You will have the opportunity to take part in advanced education classes through Aveda, Easihair Pro and other excellent industry professionals, join our growing bridal styling team, and play a role in our ongoing partnership with the Timberwolves Dancers.

We are looking for great personalities to add to our front desk staff. A welcoming personality and an ability to prioritize and multitask during high traffic times is a great start. As we are an Aveda Salon, Aveda knowledge and/or experience with the beauty industry is a big plus!

- Answering Phones, Reserving Appointments, Checking in and out Guests, Cleaning, Stocking, etc.
- Desire to grow with company taking on additional duties of Inventory, Marketing, Sales, Events, etc.
